TGF YouTube video co creator Jay Swingler who runs the channel TGFbro, where he uploads a variety of weird and random content for over 4.2 million subscribers. To start the channel, he posted a Twitter status asking who would want to make stupid/funny videos with him. His friend romell - the now co owner and creator of the channel responded, "I'm on it."
Before youtube, Jay played semi-professional football with a team called the Kidderminster Harriers, but quit because he wanted to spend more time on his videos. He was 12 when he started making videos for YouTube, uploading call of duty videos as content but not taking it seriously; to the point where it was a paid career or full time, it was mainly creating a video for his personal enjoyment, it wasn’t until 2012 that Romell joined the channel; where they both created there first video "The Laughter Challenge," in May.
Rommel In 2014, began attending the University of Worcester, where as Jay went to Halesowen college to study photography/film studies but did not enjoy it. He then quit with no backup plan beyond his YouTube career, which for him was an incredibly good idea, as he is now very successful with Money coming in from sponsors, donations, and people buying there merchandise to help support there ever growing channel.
